Upcycled Quilt Tote Bag Workshop

Turn a well-loved quilt into a one-of-a-kind tote bag!

Join us at All Things Fancy for a fun evening of sewing, creating, and giving old textiles a brand-new life. During this workshop, you’ll use pieces from your own quilt to create a beautiful, functional quilted tote bag you can actually use.

No expert sewing skills needed! We’ll walk you through the process step-by-step, from cutting your quilt pieces to assembling and finishing your tote.

Please bring:
Your own quilt to cut and upcycle. Vintage, handmade, thrifted, damaged, or well-loved quilts are all welcome—as long as you’re comfortable cutting into it!

We provide:
Sewing machines, thread, basic sewing supplies, tote bag handles/finishing materials, and step-by-step instruction.

This workshop is designed to be relaxed, social, and beginner-friendly. Come ready to sew, laugh, and leave with a completely unique tote bag made from a quilt that gets to live another life. 💕🪡

Important: Because each quilt is different, finished tote bags will vary slightly in size, pattern placement, and appearance. That’s part of the fun!
