Join us for our 9-week Beginner Sewing Academy at All Things Fancy!

Designed for ages 7-14, this weekly after-school class introduces students to the wonderful world of sewing in a fun, encouraging environment.

Each class builds upon the previous week's lesson as students gain confidence using a sewing machine while creating projects they can proudly take home.

No experience is necessary!

During this session students will learn:

✔ Sewing machine safety

✔ Basic hand sewing

✔ Fabric terminology

✔ Measuring & cutting fabric

✔ Accurate seam allowances

✔ Reading beginner patterns

✔ Zippers

✔ Elastic casings

✔ Basic bag construction

✔ Beginner garment sewing
